How to Fix Facecamping
Hey Devs! Just a couple of mechanics that would fix the facecamping issue.
- Make it so the survivor's hook progress pauses if the killer is within a certain distance of the hook and not in a chase. That way the killer can't just stand there without completely wasting time and survivors can't just loop the killer near the hooked person since their hook progress would continue.
- Make it so if the killer hooks a different survivor on a different hook from the previous one, that survivor gets an action speed debuff for a certain duration to reward the killer for going out and seeking a new target.
Carrot and stick. The killer is punished if he facecamps and is rewarded if he doesn't.
