I wouldn't be opposed too the idea of Springtrap in DBD, but it isn't something I'm holding my breath for. I'm more interested in the hate it would cause. Angry rants are cupcakes too me >:)
FNAF AR has Springtrap with fully fledged movement, and his power could be something like doctors where it creates the Phantoms from FNAF 3 too scare and distract survivors. The only problem for me would be his design and what survivor would be used. It's not like anyone you play as has a face.
Pennywise is a god? How was a god defeated by a handful of mere mortals? Pennywise may be an ancient, eldritch being, but I'd hesitate to call him a god if he can taste defeat at the hands of normal humans.
The Entity could destroy all of its victims if it wanted to, and all efforts to challenge the Entity's power have ended in abject failure.
I haven't read the books, so I may be off, but I do know Pennywise is essentially a god of pure Evil, while the turtle is a god of pure good. And the loosers club beat him in the books (again, may be wrong here.) because the turtle gave them cosmic powers too kill/banish Pennywise off of earth.
And of course those who challenged the Entity lost, they are all humans. Pennywise isn't. It's why he simply wouldn't fit. It doesn't make sense that an all powerful God of Evil could be controlled by another God of Evil.
Not every killer is "a puppet." Freddy is on a similar level of power to Pennywise, I'd say, and proves to be basically unkillable over and over, yet chooses to be in the fog.
Clown has basically come in completely by choice to kill people. It's not as black and white.
Hate to break it to you, those characters are way too cartoonish and would never be added do to that reason. I could never see Bhvr putting it into the game. They aren't dumb enough to do so lol
Freddy Fazbear is a robot possessed by a dead child, Pennywise is a god. They are def not on equal power.
Ignoring that, A better killer from FNAF would be Springtrap since he was the original killer. I could see Springtrap joining willingly, but I can't see Pennywise doing so since he's so powerful already he doesn't need another gods help too kill people.
Have you seen Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and onward? That series turned more cartoony then FNAF did IMO. Freddy never wipped out a Power Glove and killed someone in a video game.
yes, FNAF is cartoony, but there is always a very serious undertone when it comes too the lore once you dig a little. Elm Street after the third Movie simply got way too goofy and silly too be scary, and the director of 4 said he wanted Freddy to be like James Bond.
Leatherface got REALLY, REALLY cartoony there for a while. With every movie pretty much making a new timeline, and most of them went more comedy then horror, it got out of hand fast.
Ashe from Evil dead comes from a horror comedy, and If you watch Ashe Vs. Evil dead, that show get's cartoony pretty fast.
Simply put, just because there is a cartoony element in a movie/game doesn't mean it won't fit DBD. Most of the big names in DBD atm got really goofy, cartoony, and out of hand at some point in their careers. I think Demogorgon is the only licensed killer that was brought in and it still is a very serious show.
probably should of specified that when there's 2 freddies mate. Even still, Freddy Krueger is still just a Spirit/Demon, he isn't a god. He def isn't stronger then the Entity power wise. My point still stands that Pennywise wouldn't join the Entity willingly, and I highly doubt the Entity is stronger then Pennywise.
I'm saying the looks.. no one would ever take going against a cartoony looking furry seriously. It would be a bad image for the game. Not only that but your argument makes no sense, the reason they acted cartoony is because they were self conscious about what they were doing, and the characters would still be taken seriously even with the jokes at times. Apparently you don't watch much of the movies it seems.
Btw no one ever took fnaf serious compared to other movies you stated, like Evil dead, the first movie wasn't even a comedy, the second one which was basically a revision of evil dead one was completely comedic horror. You should watch the movies before talking about them
lol why you being so toxic? we're having a calm discussion, chill with the attitude.
As for the posts, Fnaf def doesn't look any more cartoony then Army of Darkness or Elm Street's CGI. And just because they look cartoony doesn't mean DBD wouldn't fit it in their own style. FNAF would work just fine in DBD. I'm not holding my breath for it, but I'm not gonna complain if it gets introduced as a chapter.
And as for the post with Freddy, you can't say Freddy when talking about 2 different things that have Freddy as the vocal point. I'm no mind reader, there was no indication that's what he was talking about.
Yeah cgi never looks good for horror imo, practical effects are great and bring realism to it. But that's why I don't think fnaf will do well because it was never realistic looking and for some would break the immersion
It's possible, but to be fair Demogorgon is really out there when it comes too design wise for dbd. It's the most unique looking killer, and that's one of the reasons I love Demogorgon. It's not just another human with special powers/sharp knife. Will FNAF ever be in dbd? probably not. Would it be fun because it's something other then a human with a knife/sharp object? absolutely.

Yeah, he's literally a cosmic force. Most things in King's books could eat Entity for breakfast.
Is it because you don't like the character or because you want to keep your shins?

Pennywise.
His character design in the remake is awful. Also, I'd be disappointed to find out Pennywise is willing to share his meals.

It's cause he let himself have that weakness. It's all very weird but if you read the book it explains it more.

Yeah you are right. The first time they beat Pennywise, it was cause of the Turtle.
Personally, I want Jack Torrence as a Killer for a Shining Chapter. he would fit much better then Pennywise IMO.
Surely you meant Slender Man?
Why not both?
Oooo agreed. But what would his power be? Perks?

No, Freddy, the iconic killer known by generations from A Nightmare on Elm Street, not some crap toy.

Dude no one cares about Fnaf lol, he was talking about Nightmare on elm street. Just take your time to read things from now on
Btw no one ever took fnaf serious compared to other movies you stated, like Evil dead, the first movie wasn't even a comedy, the second one which was basically a revision of evil dead one was completely comedic horror. You should watch the movies before talking about them
Oh....because he has poor fashion sense. I can see why.

I'm not trying to be rude sorry. But I'm just confused. Also what cgi in elm street? Are you talking about the remake?
Freddies dead, the Final Nightmare was a CGI nightmare. Anytime those weird dream demons were on screen it burned my eyes.
Oh wait nevermind. I wanna see a space killer ONLY if its him.
Yeah cgi never looks good for horror imo, practical effects are great and bring realism to it. But that's why I don't think fnaf will do well because it was never realistic looking and for some would break the immersion
Leland Gaunt from Needful Things
Well, he is standing in the shop and selling things to the survivors...🦉❓️
