Yet another series I've heard almost nothing but good things about and still haven't watched... boy is my backlog huge.
Michael's psychiatrist Dr. Loomis;
I personally disagree, I think this years games have definitely been great but hey, to each their own. He's definitely got stiff competition, even is competing against Norman.
A mummy killer would be very welcome, I'd also love a fully underground map, been wanting one for a while.
I would love for Krampus to pop up and yeah, like most, I'm very interested to see what their own werewolf could be.
Yeah they said they don't want to do too "stereotypical" killers ie vampire or werewolf, but I think they could seriously make them work if they just made it their own entity interpretation of each instead of iconic versions we all think of. Those stereotypical killers are popular for a reason and I think people would like them a lot.
I was thinking all the clips we've seen of Vigo and his experimentation with blight was going to transform him into "The Beast" aka their own werewolf interpretation but unique.
I really like killers that force survivors to play differently as it makes the game feel very fresh. So like if the werewolfs ability was jumping and clinging to walls, it would now force survivors to always be looking up at tree tops and buildings. "The Beast" would be able to jump from tree to tree and cling to them or crawl along the building walls. Maybe while attached to walls or trees he has undetectable.
People complain about the game getting stale, but I think this is because they keep making every killer be countered by literally the exact same play style. They aren't making survivors play any differently, so of course it's gonna get boring. They could keep the 1 play mode from getting as boring if each round required a different tactic from them.
A killer that could climb would feel super fresh, my only question is would they save something like that for a big IP killer?
If by big IP you mean a licensed, I don't know of any licensed killer that would do that.
They also mention a lot about how off humanoid killers would be able pick up survivors but I think a "Beast" would just grab their shoulder in his mouth and drag them quite easily. Hooking animation can be him just flinging them from his mouth up onto it.
Yup, that's exactly what I mean by big IP and a Xenomorph would definitely fit that bill.
I like the dragging idea for your werewolf, I'm a bit surprised to not see a "drag" option in game already to be honest. Probably would cost quite a bit though.
My dream survivor would be Lee from the walking dead game season 1. He would fit so well into the game being used to surviving and working with others. It would also make a lot of sense for him for the entity to take him. He has a lot of hope and the entity could of taken him right when he was about to turn.
It's a huge toss-up between Lee or Clem but I ultimately think I agree with you. Plus, I want Clem to have her happy ending.
That would make sense but to be honest I don't see them ever adding a Xenomorph to DBD. It just doesn't fit the theme imo at all.
Itll never happen but Pyramid Head would be my dream killer.
Frank west from the dead rising series
I want a robot character don’t care if survivor or killer.
Would be fun😎
Once upon a time I'd agree with you but since the Demogorgon, I like to think the sky is(almost) the limit for guest characters. Also about not fitting, I don't agree but can still see where you're coming from and respect that. Your werewolf suggestion and idea is great though, I'd like to see something similar become a reality one day.
Resident Evil is my number 1 game franchise I want to see represented but SH is definitely up there. Of course good old triangle face must be the killer.
I'd adore Frank getting in, after all, he's covered wars you know?
Pinhead : He could roam the map as the cube for stealth. This might be too gimmicky/similar to wraith.
Candyman: Beeee my victim. His terror radius is an actual swarm of bees following/surrounding him. Mori wouldn't dissapoint.
My only question is what would Pinhead's main weapon be, a chain? Also, I haven't watched Candyman but Tony is awesome so bring him in.
The fanatic from darkest dungeon
DD is in my game backlog so I have zero clue to what he does but he definitely has a intimidation factor.
imhotep from the 1999 mummy (he could have many cool outfits) and rick or evelyn as the survivor i guess xD
He hunts down those with the crimson curse (your party) and based from the lore he doesn’t care if someone doesn’t have the curse if he thinks you have it then your getting on the pyre
Definitely a Jack the Ripper chapter. Unlicensed, and the Victorian map would be amazing
Sounds like he could definitely fit in then if he's that uncaring.
It's been so long sense I've seen that movie, I can't remember, is he more like a traditional mummy?
Sam and Dean Winchester with a generic werewolf, vampire, or demon as the killer :D
I definitely know some people would flip out if we got any Supernatural content in game.
