Well, some of the achievements are not impossible, still very hard. And the reward is just lore, wich is great due that I love lore, but what I mean is the reward may not be worst the risk.
Besides, it's not about your personal skill. It's not like the dailys "be chased X seconds as Feng Min", wich is relying in your skill to evade and/or loop the killer.
Last minute hero: We are relying that a killer has the chance to hook survivors three times in the EGC. It may not be impossible but as I said we rely to much on the killer skill and that another survivors are not intelligent to escape.
Fight back: Stunning the killer may be difficult and you can say "hey it's a good achievement because it recquires skill as a survivor", but What happens if another survivor starts droping pallets like a madman? We are talking that you should stun a killer 4 times IN a single match.
I think a lot of people will loss their rank on purpose in order to do it. Making unpleasant game experiences for new players.
I took up for the devs before release, but if this is true, I don't blame people for being angry now. A lot of these are near impossible to do. Is this something you can actually view in the game? Or is this something pulled from the files?
There seem to be a bug related to completing the first Tome, it'll show the fourth Tome in its stead.
Devs, for the love of god, change these. Its like they never even tried them out, unhooking 3 ppl during endgame, in ONE game is impossible. (They have to be safe unhooks too)
I couldn't give a stuff it I don't get some silly Claire's Accessories to hang on my hooks: these challenges are not worth the hassle.
Or at the very least I'd love to see one of the devs do these challenges without working with others to do it.

The hardest one I think will be the 3 unhooks during the egc.
I mean you got
1 a killer dc cause 0 kill.
2 survivor DC cause of early down
3 survivor giving up on 1st hook
4The killer is good enough to catch everyone and hook them at the end
5 someone isn't tunneled out early
8 assuming you don't have a flashlight crazy person saving

O yea also if 2 people get into struggle during the match you lose.
If I catch and camp one into struggle you fail
Almost like you're not allowed to hook anyone even once until the EGC starts.. Fun.
The "Master" Challenges tied to the lore in this tome (4) are beyond lame.
3 pieces of lore tied behind challenges that require either extreme RNG or farming to get? Forced to rely on the skills of others to determine whether you complete YOUR challenges?
I mean, for example, that I could escape 100 matches in a row, but never get the challenge completed because of a teammate dying :(
The Killer side is not much better - Farming will probably be necessary for the Trapper one, while the 4x Basement kill challenge is going to be nigh impossible once people realize you are going for it (they'll just stay as far away as possible).
I hope they look at these, too :(
Since the developers decided to ease up the bullshit in Level 3, I wonder if they'll preemptively lessen the bullshit in Level 4 before it releases or if they're just gonna drop it and wait until people get upset.. again.
It doesnt matter if they upset us or not.
People will still be willing to blindly defend the devs so why would they care?
They DO care when their revenue's suffering an impact. That's why I think they changed level 3 to begin with. People stopped doing challenges and progressing the Rift. If people don't care for the Rift, then why'd they buy the pass itself or buy tiers?
Just wanted to say that I am very dissapointed with these challenges BHVR -- Tome 4 really takes the cake how ridiculous some of them are, did you even try them yourself in high ranks as solo survivor/killer? I think not. In their core they are grindy (which I dont mind too much), and what bothers me the most frustratingly RNG based, especially the "do in one trial" ones, just get rid of that condition altogether as others have pointed out. Time will tell if you guys tone them down or you ignore community feedback yet again.
I for one am glad I never bought the premium pass, as I first wanted to try out if -- as proclaimed --all content would be obtainable for free, even if you're just a "casual" with 1 hr per day. Which if tome 4 goes live like this is 100% not the case.

The only challenges prior to 4 that sucked, imo, were the EGC Unhook and Escape w/o Being Hooked.
If these aren't adjusted, though, it will probably be my last pass purchase.
At this exact moment, though, I'm enjoying the unlocks I've gotten so far :)

They changed the challenges in tome 3. It's only natural that changes have been made already for tome 4 too. Why are people reviving and complainting about something that hasn't been official released yet? I honestly don't believe that they haven't revized tome 4 challenges when changing tome 3... just chill and wait for it to release...
If they really want us to do THOSE challenges, the rewards should be 100K points, at least.
Those challenges are atrocious. I refuse to do those in that state. I'll save myself the trouble and play the game normally.
I don’t think completing 4 gens solo wouldn’t be impossible in soloque tbh. The opportunity will probably arise now and them. There are times you get altruistic teammates that don’t do gens and get snowballed.

To be fair, the 4 gens one, you only have to complete them. Not do them completely. Even if you're there for the last 5 seconds of the gen.
As for the rest...
3 sacrifices in the end game is BS, yes.
Trap 4 survivors...just play a Haddonfield offering. Easily done. You can close off most of their good loops with traps that they HAVE to step in in order to disarm them.
Flashlight saves - you don't have to save the person. Just blind the killer while they are carrying someone. Yes it can be done without a save.
Sacrifice all 4 in the basement - Any killer with iron grasp and agitation. Preferably a killer you're good with, and the luck of getting a map where the basement is in the middle of the map.
Unhooking 3 survivors in end game...BS. Unless you have an SWF willing to throw for you, that's horse #########. Not impossible, though. Just...stupid. Also, if you had to do it, use borrowed time.
Damage the same gen 4 times - you don't have to lose, just run pop. Even if you do lose, bro, it's a game. You can't win them all.
