Don't know if someone's already covered it, but honestly, the biggest issue I face playing this game on console at all is what happens to my controller...
For some reason I've noticed this weird thing where if I use a controller in this game alot, for some reason the left thumb stick will wear to the point that if you try to strafe left slightly or change your angle a few degrees, it gets really sticky and as killer, hinders my movement. It's like I stepped on a tack every time I need to make a slight adjustment to my Chase..
it's very frustrating, but it's definitely a hardware thing as I've done it to 2 controllers now
Playing killer on console is borderline masochistic. Here's an overview:
No queue time, awesome!
Match begins. 30FPS, [BAD WORD].
First chase. Lunge. Drop down to 10FPS. Miss.
Where did that survivor go?
Trying to mindgame loops by hiding my stain only to realize the controller at 100% sensitivity isn't fast enough to let me do this. Where did that survivor go?
Teabagged at every pallet
Finally death hook someone. Notification: Survivor has added you to a PS4 chat.
Receive pop-ups of chat insults etc while still trying to focus on the game.
Game is over. You are rank 12, survivors are all red rank.
Feel stressed.
[BAD WORD] this [BAD WORD].
Notification: Escaped survivors also add you to a chat, make fun of you.
Block a few people on the Playstation Network. Again.
The wiggling aspect destroys thumbsticks, yes. Should be changed to a button tbh. Don't understand why they thought rotating a thumbstick 360 degrees over and over again with speed and force to wiggle would be a good thing.
You try precisely aiming hatchets with 100% sensitivity. At that point the controller actually skips quite a lot of pixels, like using a cheap mouse at an artificially high sensitivity.
But if you lower the sensitivity you get 360'd all day. Pick your poison.
You should read up on DPI, sensitivity and pixel skipping. It is objectively true that cranking up the sensitivity on your controller decreases aiming accuracy.
I don't know why you're arguing, he's obviously right and I've been playing longer than you. I mean your name is Hag is D-tier, you don't exactly have the credit to speak with any authority based on residence
I've been playing on console since day one. So when some idiot on the forums tells me that a killer I mained for around 2 [BAD WORD] years is unplayable, I'm gonna call it out. My name is a piss take of Tydes tier list btw.
Yes 99%of the games I play as killer are SWF and I can get games instantly on killer but survivor it takes ages.
i frequently have stutters when I’m chasing people and it has thrown me off a couple of times also when you start up DBD your console sounds like it’s a bout to explode.
Oh, ok that's fair. I know plenty of people who've played both since the begining and they say it's definitely harder to play hag and nurse on console. I don't have my own word to go on by because I never played on PC, but I personally don't feel too hindered while playing nurse... But O definitely do playing huntress, and I out some time into her in the beginning. She was one of my first mains too
On PC, you can hit players with your hatchets reliably at a further distance than on console, due to artificial sensitivity and pixel skipping. This is a fact, I can't help that you know nothing about how a mouse or a controller actually works.
I have never ever played a game on PC so I have no idea how that would work. But killer on console is fine. Can't think it would be better using mouse and keyboard, that's for working not gaming 😄
Looking at rank it's easy to get in red ranks as survivor. I'm at rank 2 and have played this game for three months. But killer I'm at rank 7 it's much harder overall.
I don't get this. I set my sensitivity to 100 and I have no problem spinning my camera to hit 360's. The only time I whiff is when there is a frame drop just as you swing, which happens a lot with bloodlust.
Also playing Nurse is difficult but not impossible. I'm a pretty decent Nurse. I know several players that are Nurse mains and they can dominate almost any team. She takes more practice on console but is still definitely the strongest killer if in the right hands.
Huntress and Nurse are definitely playable and strong killers. But they are hard to learn and not many people care to put in the time. Both get bullied really hard if you don't know what you are doing which discourages most people from trying.
On Xbox most games are Freddy, GF, Myers, Bubba, Wraith, Trapper. I play Freddy myself, he is probably the most dominate killer right now. Everyone is doing TrueTalents GF build, it's honestly kind of annoying that's ALL you ever get. Trapper is popular at high ranks especially because of the Rift. Lots of Legions too, but after playing Legion I see why (EZ to get pips and BP). Don't see many Spirits now after the update because she was bugged for a while.
You know you're supposed to aim with both sticks right? Move your crosshair and position yourself for a shot. I feel like m/kb users always overlook this.
That's the problem, instead of taking the time to get good at specific characters, they parrot the "muh x is unplayable because console" and then new players on console won't try either and they too will parrot the lie. It's hard but far from impossible.

When someone say's a certain killer is unplayable on console (e.g Huntress). Take it with a grain of salt, it's likely bullshit.

I mained Huntress for 2 years. I already precisely aimed plenty of hatchets. Not my problem if your too lazy to learn a high skill cap character.

You should stop telling people lies.
Most of the killers are fine on console. Just a small handful of exceptions like Nurse and Hag.
Same applies to controllers. Anything above the default 50% sensitivity in-game, reduces the accuracy and introduces pixel skipping.
Bye.
Bye bye🖕

;)
You really think a Hag main would put her in D tier?

Two things are infinite. The universe and human stupidity. And I have some doubts about the universe.

Ignore him dude. Trust me I know more than anyone that there are stupid people in this world.

Hag is fine on console. The only thing I hate is the low camera angle. I've seen some great console, Huntress players recently.
Killer on console is the BEST! No complaints.
Wait times depend on the time of day not survivor or killer
The framerate is really bad sometimes, and the sensitivity could be higher. My only complains about playing on console. Both sides, surv and killer.

I know how it works and I've sniped plenty of survivors on PS4. I don't care about mouse and keyboard because I don't play on PC.
Yes survivor wait times are very long. The killers are usually pretty toxic, especially around ranks 9-12 for some reason.
Ignorance is bliss.
I call it my own experiance.

Huntress can snipe on console.
