they just need to fix framerate against him. I literally dont wanna play a freddy if going into dream on a gen lags out my game or drops my frames to 30 while in chase
While someone whos asleep cant apply BT, they made the deep wounds status effect not dependent on TR. Before with Freddy, if he hit someone who had BT on, he just had to follow the person for abit and theyd drop due to their timer going down. With the change to deep wounds, the timer doesnt go down as long as someone is running away. BT still isnt really gonna help against a Freddy who's legit camping, due to Freddy being able to sleep anyone going for the save by hitting them, it at least works once its actually applied.
When his lunge is able to hit you two or three steps after lithe has activated, it's a problem. You're obviously a Freddy main so you're going to defend him no matter what so it's really pointless talking to you.
I was just curious what your problem was since you specified that by "broken" you didnt mean "range". "Broken" can mean alot of things, and since PERSONALLY I can make Freddy attack when I push M1, I assumed you didnt mean he wasnt functioning for you.
The stats determine red ranks as a match which had a red ranked killer in it. They ofc gonna be higher when red rank killers can play against green survivors or purple. These stats are utterly meaningless.
From what you described of being hit after taking afew steps after a vault, that sounds like similar latency issues that plagues survivors for ALL killers, not just a Freddy thing in particular. If you had said something along the lines of "his hits seem to extend further than his fingerblades than other killer attacks from THEIR weapons", then a possible fix for that could be to adjust the animation to make it LOOK better and more accurate.
Side note and completely off topic... Everytime I use the long bar addon on Bubba and hit people after theyve vaulted with his chainsaw...I always giggle knowing they THINK they just got cheated and have no idea im using an addon.
I think the biggest problem with Freddy is the fact that he just does so much.
No matter what people say, he IS the killer with the highest win rate at red ranks. Does that not say at least a little? Though I do think there are stronger killers, but Freddy takes no skill in comparison to killers like: Spirit, Huntress ,nurse, etc... And they are some of the top killers RN.
I think it's fine if he does so much, but there needs to be more room for counter play. I think a healthy option is just to make it so ANY alarm can wake you up. It sucks when you want to run across the map just to wake up, then a few seconds later get hit and get put back into dream world.
Another thing I find really odd, is that his design is meant to be a really good end game killer, but has nothing for end game? His mid game is one of, if not THE strongest in the game, but he has almost no end game pressure. I wonder if teleporting to exit gates could be a possibility?
Idk, I think his design as a whole is that he does so much for so little. I think he could go for some nerfs AND buffs in certain categories.

So in other words if i wake up i can't gen rush him into oblivion so he's way to op....😒
Borrowed time does work you just can't be oblivious, he only has 10 snares and he can't see any auras without perks.
I actually like playing against Freddy now... Believe it or not I had more trouble before then now...
The most broken thing about him is his lunge. Fix that and he'd be tolerable but as of right now, he's just as annoying as Legion.
