Personally I don't understand this change. The whole point of shocking someone is to interrupt them to get a hit. Unless the pause is longer then the shock, it would have no purpose but to make the killer's gameplay feel sloppier. I'm curious to know how it will actually play out.
Still got add-on changes to go, plus he no longer needs to change form when chasing.
Yeeeaaaah. Out of everything that could have been buffed on doc, what he needed was no delay between shock being used and shock hitting someone. Other than that he would be fine.
Can I remind you that it's still got to be tested on the PTB - numbers can still be adjusted, please just try it out, then give feedback on it.
Effen lol....Nurse changes are hated by all and she's the least played killer. Her numbers haven't been adjusted. Dev's must have put you mods on high alert today.

Their little blurb didn't say ######### about why he was frustrating to play AS. That should tell you all that you need to know. Any strength the doc gains will be in spite of this rework, and not because of it. They are not addressing any of his issues from the killer side so don't believe for a second that Doc is going to be any better after this. The last rework that seemed to care about the players actually playing as the killer was Freddy. Survivor fun will always come first, every time. Get used to it.

Feel like the cooldown period mentioned would be similar to the timelapse between a Huntress throwing a hatchet and being able to M1. Youd still have a nice net gain if you can shock someone before a pallet or window to be able to follow up with an M1. Also feel like this would be something theyd want to assign addons to, similar to Huntress's Oak haft addon.
No one even actually got the opportunity to test Nurse in her fully nerfed form, on the PTB, as the delay in recharge after attacking was not implemented. They still pushed this change to live with 0 feedback on it.
Any add-ons that once caused Exhaustion are, to my understanding, having that effect replaced with a reverse spinning Skillcheck.

You keep saying that; but you know as well as we do, that killer changes in the killers favor take an eternity to happen.
Probably closer to the Clown's bottle throw -> swing delay.
We can make guesses, but point being...its PROBABLY not gonna be a huge delay that would make the power worthless.
I was really looking forward to the Doctor changes, this ######### killed it for me.
They remove the stance switching which was a major upside, but instead now EVERY zap may as well be a stance swap with a 3 second cooldown without actions. His own power to stun survivors out of actions is basically irrelevant now since all he can do in that time is stand there and watch them be stunned.
Yeah pairing huntress lullaby with Doc is now R.I.P!
They’re also decreasing his movement speed while charging up the Static Blast. It sounds like it’s going to be a big decrease. The rework looks like it’s only going to solve Survivor problems. The devs still don’t seem like they understand how to efficiently play Killer at high ranks.
Really sucks that my worst fears look like they’re coming true. The devs are using fun as a reason to gut every Killer and that Freddy was a fluke. Hopefully the new Doctor just sounds bad on paper or the devs decide to listen to the PTB feedback and buff the hell out of him before the patch hits the live servers.

I can't believe that they have never even addressed that Nurse was not functioning properly on the PTB, but opted to ship her AND nerf her cooldown add-ons, iirc, while tacking on the extra cooldown that should have been present for the players to test.
Didn't they say Static Blast would be a full-tier in a previous forum post, and now it is just "an amount?"

snap out of it changes are huge nerf to dock. huge nerf to madness 3(can break out of it in portions, and you dont lose your progress if interupted.) You can even break madness while looping the doctor.
Huge nerf to madness 2(no longer permanent) So to build up survivor madness you will have to take them two whole tiers again, and slower than before.

The Zap 'unable to interact' phase only lasts on a survivor for 2 seconds.
So you zap them, they stand at the pallet mashing space, and they come out on top either way (getting a stun or dropping the pallet risk-free)?
