Cya dude, and goodluck in whatever you go to, I hope to see you back here soon.0August 11
SairekI'm still "retired" and lurking the forum offline now and then (I'm making an exception now because a certain thread intrigued me and I wanted to comment), but thank you very much for the kind words. <3
I read your goodbye post and I couldn’t agree more. It’s the same reason I quit. It’s funny you call yourself a lurker, you were one of the most known people to me in my time lurking here. It’s a shame they closed down your post so it couldn’t gain traction. They can’t take criticism. I see goodbye posts all the time and they stay up, but the second one with actual critiques comes it gets taken down nearly instantly. Have a good break, I hope you come back soon. I hope the game gets better also, that’s the only way I’ll come back.0August 11
SairekModerators closing threads that criticize the game have been happening for a while. I've also seen outright threads disappearing and users getting silently banned who may have had some more... passionate words to say. I suppose in the end I got the better end of the stick with my thread being closed, even if it was just immediately (I didn't even know it got closed until today when I went to look. I immediately left after making the post and haven't logged in until now).
Thank you for the kind words, by the way. I still lurk the forums time to time (much less than I usually did). A particular post interested me and I wanted to comment about it though since it touched on a lot of the problems I have been bothered by, so I logged on to comment, and only saw this just now.
I still haven't touched the game since making that post. It probably will remain like that for a long time unfortunately. People joked and did the whole "see you in two weeks" thing, but well, they said that to me when I said goodbye to League of Legends too. Five years later, I still haven't touched it, and I spent more time and money on League than DBD.
