For everyone crying about "entitlement", they did state that players would have a "distinct icon" to "show off your dedication to other players". It's not that we were expecting cosmetics. We just definitely weren't expecting something that nobody else would see, let alone a recycled animation asset.

I mean, we already received recolors in Rift rewards. It doesn't take much for a design team to swap a color palette compared to the hundreds of hours people will spend playing to prestige

It is fixed now, but for posterity the game won't run if it's installed in my external drive no matter how fast the drive is; Xbox forces Series S and X optimized games to be installed on the internal drive in order to actually start it up and play it.
