  • Received a message from a mod asking not to post clips without the names blurred so as to not name/shame. Perfectly understandable. But I really just want an acknowledgement about this issue. I've reported my share of hack users through the ingame tool, and also with clips. But they just keep coming. It is ruining…
  • Because it is not true, at least in this situation. These hackers are all coming to the Korean server from a very, very large country to the west of Korea. I'm sure you can guess which one. Of course, I have met a number of players who used hacks who were Korean, but if those were the only hack users I had met in this…
  • If I turn on an NA stream or Euro stream I will rarely see a hacker. It is most definitely not on every server. The majority of these hackers are killers. How do you suggest I dodge the killer before even having the option of seeing the profile? As for VPN'ing, yes, that is always an option, but the reason I am writing…
  • While there have been a few Korean hackers in this game, the cast majority come from a country nearby Korea which will not be named. I'm sure you can guess which country, though.
  • There isn't a killer vs survivor problem. The main balance in this game is average killer + average solo survivor vs. SWF + top tier killer. The latter are far superior to the former. SWF stomps average killer. Top tier killer stomps average survivor. Whether solo survivor or average killer is better is entirely dependent…
  • And when the next game is a hacker? And the game after that? I faced 3 hackers in a row today. 1st and 3rd were the same account. Second was different. Please don't miss the forest for the trees.
  • Base Blight is stronger than Base Billy was pre-nerf. A Blight using his strongest addons is stronger than a Billy (pre-nerf) using his strongest addons. Similar skill ceiling. The devs nerf Billy, and then create a killer stronger than he ever was. If that doesn't tell you anything about the DBD balance team, I don't know…
  • In the grand scheme of things, this game isn't Killer vs Survivor. It is top tier killer (nurse blight spirit) and SWF at the top, and average killer + solo queue survivor at the bottom. If good killer players want to dominate the vast majority of their games they can choose a top tier killer with meta perks and the best…
  • I've been saying this for a while. The only time I ever see map offerings used is when one side wants to skew the balance too far in their favor.
  • Blight. Base is fine. His two Red addons and the purple addon that gives you back your charge after a successful hit are too strong. If those three addons are altered I think he will be (while still very powerful) much more fun and fair to go against. Huntress. Her one-shot addon change was just lazy. I am a Huntress main.…
  • It may not seem like much, but the extra vault speed plus the blocking of one window makes a world of difference. Even them knowing you have bamboozle on that map will make them scared to go to that house, because they know they will soon be going to the basement. Against skilled killers most survivors will avoid going…
  • Use your left mouse to do an attack when dropping down from the roof (and move your camera in the direction you want to go). It is faster to drop down that way. You'll catch them eventually. If you have bamboozle (which you should always be running on Bubba), then it shouldn't take long to catch them if you path correctly.
  • Yikes. So much misinformation in this thread. Coming from rank 1 survivor and killer on the Korean server I can emphatically say that if you don't have self care or a medkit, your team is toast. (Talking about solo queue of course. Doesn't matter what perks you use in an SWF.) Taking a medkit instead of selfcare is fine,…
  • The grind is real. Even if they changed each perk to having only one level instead of three, it would still be a grind. It's actually absurd that they haven't at least done that.
  • I think this is the first list I've seen that I haven't thought "this person doesn't even play DBD" A few small things I would change - I'd much sooner put Plague in C tier than A tier. She has been really overestimated lately. And Trickster is still super low tier. Simply putting Twins in a high tier means you actually…
  • It's always amusing seeing what the people on these forums think of particular killers. I have a feeling most of them don't actually play, and just parrot what they have read in other threads? Twins is high B, low-mid A tier after this change. Solidly A tier before this nerf. She is one of the most oppressive killers to go…
  • As a Huntress main this is an extremely disappointing patch. I was expecting the devs to have at least some creativity and turn iri head into something fun, like for every hatchet hit you get a hatchet refund, or passively reloading hatchets, but no..it is the same super unfun add on, now with a limitation. Great job... I…
  • The bigger issue is matchmaking. So many killer players who should be purple or green rank, have ranked up to red and expect to hang with the good survivors because they have the red rank symbol next to their name. For real rank 1 red rank killers, the game is a breeze lately.
  • What's with so many people putting Twins so low? I feel like when Twins came out one person underestimated them greatly and put them low on a tier list, and everyone else just copied that because they don't see the Twins too often. Same goes with Plague. Otzdarva put her high on a tier list once, and everyone copied that.…
  • I'd rather face a red add on spirit than a slugging Twins right now. They are the opposite of fun. Those of you pretending them needing a change wasn't obvious, shame on you! Some players will suggest significantly increasing the distance from the hook Charlotte has to be to switch...pretending that slugging Twins players…
  • Nope...only one streamer you watch knows how to play the Twins effectively. Watch a few Korean streams and you'll see the Twins being played effectively. 4 Gen slowdown perks and slug slug slug. It is about as much fun as going against the ring add on spirit. They are a competitively viable killer.
  • Just hope that they get changed into something fun for both sides when the Huntress gets her add on rework. Although, they didn't change the red one-hit add on for clown with his rework, which was a big mistake in my opinion.
  • The DS change will help revitalize the killer population, hopefully. It sucks wanting to play survivor after playing killer for many rounds in a row, and having to wait an absurdly long time because no one plays killer. The only thing that I disagree with is that if you self care for even a little bit, decisive strike…
  • I haven't really used Oni too much lately. Didn't really occur to me to add it to the list. I'll try a game with that add on later tonight to refresh my memory.
  • Wraith definitely needs to be higher. Using his lunge-sprint effectively is something I've seen very few Wraiths do.
  • After the latest patch: the swamp maps. You can't see anything anymore. Survivor: Sheltered woods, Saloon. Way too advantageous to killer. Killer: Lampkin Lane, and the second biggest Farm map (not Rotten fields, although that one is awful too). Way too safe. Way to easy for survivors as long as the team members aren't…
  • The Twins are tournament viable. Easily high mid-tier at the very least. Just so happens that the best way to play as them (all Gen-defense build and constant slugging) makes them one of the least fun killers to go against if the killer player is good. I'm torn, because playing as the Twins is actually quite fun. But yeah,…
  • Watch how skilled killer streamers play the game. Find a streamer who explains what he/she is doing as killer and why he/she is doing it. Practice that. Despite all the 'woe is me' 'killer is impossible' posts on this forum, the killer role right now (for a skilled player) is quite advantageous. The current matchmaking…
  • Agreed. 5-10 minutes to find a game as survivor, depending on time of day, only to be greeted by a macro-using killer. If it wasn't as common as it is, it wouldn't be that big a deal. As it is now, it's an annoying waste of time.
  • Yikes. Watched the Bubba match. Saw a completely different match than you did, I'm afraid. Regardless of a player's reputation of being a good killer, if they don't actually play a good round, then yes they will probably lose. Her add-ons were not good, her perks were not good. She lost every chase. She had no pressure…
