If the rank system is no longer used, then remove the depipping associated with the old ranking system. I would feel happier then seeing my rank get higher based on the time I actually play.

The bloodrush event is only a week, I suggest you skip playing till its over. It attracts a den of scum and villainy usually players who dont play killer that much but will do so out of spite.

I am thinking if you used killer character level that could be abused by blood farming. If you set individual ranks then blood would be tied to the character that earned itand couldnt be "spent" on a different character. You cannot have both.
