Just stop asking for nerfs. Please. It's so annoying and makes you sound entitled.
-
Ways to counter? Give all lobbies coms, and balance around that. Give killers a progressive buff based on the # of SWF in the lobby. There's lots of different options, they're just not going to do any because of whiny survs.
-
I feel like they're just recycling the old killers and slightly changing mechanics, but changing them in a way that makes the killer weaker. Oni is literally Billy but worse. Deathslinger is literally huntress but worse.
-
This is obviously bait guys. He's saying he's new because devs have emphasized they want to improve the experience for new players.
-
I think most killers don't necessarily think survivors are OP more than they think killers are currently underpowered. The recent nerfs have just made the killer experience horrible, and people are mad. Go back say 6 months or so and it was much more even on both sides. Killers are asking for nerfs in retaliation for…

First of all, killers objective is to kill all 4 survivors. It is 100% okay to slug for 4k if the killer is so inclined. And are you really that entitled that you think someone making you wait 4 minutes should be bannable? Sure its a dick move, and the killer loses points for it. But its 4 minutes. Grow up.

They would make sooo much money if they did. I bet at least half the playerbase would buy the game again on a different system.
-
Trust me, if you disconnect frequently everyone is glad you're gone.

It's interesting because the meta is changing to find new ways to slow the game without old ruin. In addition to what others have said, I would add infectious fright is very 'meta' right now to help slugging. Discordance and surveillance are popular, with and without ruin. Surge and pop are popular on non-ruin builds.

The fact you think they buffed ruin tells us all we need to know about your biases

Switch is just really poor hardware. Even games like skyrim and doom that came out quite a while ago have to tone things down alot. But the advantage is portability and price.

What are you talking about? Every serious online game has much, much more severe DC penalties. In CSGO you DC once you're banned for half an hour, 4 DCs and you're banned for a week. League of legends does shorter bans more on the scale of DBD (but still longer), but you lose an increasing number of rank points and can get…

Before ruin nerf I tried not to tunnel because 'ethics'. Now I do it whenever it's the best move because I'm pissed. That said, there are a lot of times where it isn't the best move.

I've always hated arguments like this. No one cares that you can't afford better internet, and no one is shaming you. But here are the facts: (1) When you DC you ruin the game for everyone else. (2) You're not taking the necessary steps to stop DCing. Your ability to play the game while being unwilling to invest in the…

If its licensed its gotta be pinhead right? Can't think of any other chain killers

I honestly thought it would be a lot worse without ruin, although it's definitely different. I usually at least 3k against red rank solo q but where it seems to really hurt is red rank swf. Haven't had a good game against a coordinated team in a while.

Okay, as killer, as soon as you know a person has a key why would you not kill them? There's literally no good reason not to. Especially if they're SWF, they can end the game as soon as hatch spawns. That's why they make the keys look so discrete- to work they need to be a stealth play. And honestly, there's lots of ways…

Every time I've watched him he's playing in like green ranks. Maybe I just dont watch him enough though
-
I'm killer main and as soon as I know someone has a key I make sure they're dead before hatch spawns. I'm all for nerfing survivors but this doesn't seem fair and basically hard counters keys. Personally I like the game-changing mori/key dynamic.
-
They do play but have you watched them? Even the 'good' ones kinda suck. It's like that in a lot of multiplayer games but usually they listen to their best players about the direction the game needs to go. Instead, BHVR has decided they want to make their game 'fun' instead of 'competitive', so they actually take their own…

Dude are you just really bad? If you can't figure out how to counter him, watch OhTofu's guide. Yes, Billy is one of the better killers, but he's very balanced. The things 'most' Billys do are pretty easy to counter. If he's revving his chainsaw at every pallet, punish him and loop it again before throwing. If not, force…

I really like the idea for the new hidden elo system, but there needs to be a way to have at least a general idea of the skill level you're at/playing against.
-
I just truly don't get it. The obvious (and only) solution is to add coms for everyone and balance around that. Currently, the game is clearly not designed for survivors to be able to communicate, and when they can they're overpowered. Benefits of adding coms: -Fewer balance issues -Average survivors get better faster by…
-
I had exactly the same issue you're describing. Getting a new controller fixed it.
-
That's the stupid thing about it. If survivors do what they're supposed to do the game flys by. Oh, and if you down them fast to go pressure other gens? LOL no chaser emblem for you
-
I am a red rank survivor on switch. The average skill level is significantly lower than on other systems, probably due to players being less experienced and the general demographic of Nintendo owners. Furthermore, the frame rate is incredibly inconsistent. On games where skill checks go smoothly I can usually hit great…
