I really like the fact that they know each other they're part of the same interwoven story. Creates an interesting dynamic, at least in my own head xD I do hope they do something with it however, like tell current stories within the realm of the Entity

Purposefully holding back is annoying and boring. Playing well and challenging myself is fun. That doesn't mean running OP tryhard builds all the time is fun though.

I don't think regular anime would be a good fit for this game but I think anything from Junji Ito's library of horror would be amazing. If they could somehow collaborate with him on a chapter it would be amazing!

Just wanted to report that I tested this and it didn't work. I did a global fps limit in nvidia control panel, as well as on the game, and also in the gameplay.ini file. For some reason it ignores it and reboots my pc (or is something else happening?)

I can fix my end of the problem, but don't you think this is an issue worth looking into and fixing on the dev side? There are threads of this exact problem from 2018. Having the game put that much load on a system every time it starts up can't be good.

I feel like most of these types of questions can be answered by invoking "Because the Entity does/doesn't allow it." It's the Entity's world after all.

Thank you for this very in-depth look at why it looks so wrong. Dbd Cybil is very much in the realm of uncanny valley. I just don't understand how the art department can be so inconsistent when it comes to quality? You would think they would want to make a faithful recreation of the character they're trying to sell you...

It hurts SWF way more than solo because you can't tell your buddies when to save you unless the killer happens to chase another one of your buddies. Solo doesn't have anyone to tell that info. Immersion is not the point of this proposed change; it's balance. Therefore, there is no logic to this change other than that. The immersive elements are just a bonus. Are you sure you read my post? The whole point was to nerf the awareness of the survivor on the hook.

I'm okay with new thanatophobia becoming a perk that forces survivors to heal, but the amount of stall that was lost is not enough to make up for the amount that we gain with this change (almost nothing). They seriously need to buff it to 8% for it to be worth using if they want to go with the no heal meta counter.

Literally anything in that buffs Forced Penance is good in my book.

The only killer who every got any use out of HL was doctor because it affected his skillchecks. They should just get rid of the tokens for this perk and let it affect all skillchecks again. That's the only change that will make this a perk worth using.

I agree. Just because they want a more realistic environment doesn't mean they have to sacrifice the stylistic elements of the map like the blue hue. It looks okay, but the map lost a lot of its character. Somehow feels really bland now.

This is a great change but I still think 5 seconds is too short. You can easily get that back by slowly walking away from a killer approaching a gen or by walking for short amount of time during a chase or around a good loop.
