Balance aside, the fact that they were able to quickly change and fix some addons, completely rework others, and change rarities in a matter of weeks is super amazing. Also, these patch notes are great - giving specific numbers is always good.
A recommendation I would have is having the old numbers and perk/addon description next to it for easy comparison.
Plus, they fixed some pretty jarring bugs (looking at you Nancy!). I really would love to see this style of patches in the future, with changes to addons (and I would really love to see some more consistent perk changes) coming with them.
What do you guys think?
I've been playing DbD for awhile now, and I still remember when I first started playing the feeling of fear my friends and I had when doing anything on the map. The fear when we saw a killer walking toward us and the fear of being chased. It was a ton of fun and honestly made the game super entertaining.
Now we are all pretty much veterans and play the game as red ranks on both survivor and killer. The game is still entertaining but not in the same way it used to be. I really miss the feeling of terror I had when I first played the game as a survivor. Now I can say it feels like killers have more to fear from SWFs teabagging their way out the exit gate than any survivor has from a killer even hooking them. And yeah I know about jump scare wraith and Meyers but those require some pretty rare add-ons and aren't played that often.
I've thought about it a lot and Im pretty excited for the graphics update because I know that will help, but I genuinely think they should make killers just better overall. I really believe BvH should make survivors at every rank terrified of killers in most matches. I've been in too many matches where my friends and I LOOK for the killer just to get chased because it's funny and we get points for it. For a game classified as "horror" it's not very horrifying at all.
I am genuinely curious what other people in the community think about DbDs actual level of terror. This is all just my opinion so feel free to express yours!
It's gotten out of hand. It needs to be a top priority, and harassment tickets need to start being taken more seriously in the report system. Suspensions and ban's need to start being made immediatly in instances that a player tells someone to kill themself or throws around derogatory terms.
Don't bother saying "Just close chat"
Don't bother saying "It is how it is"
Don't bother saying "Just take a break"
Those are terrible responses. The issue has become out of hand, and needs to be taken more seriously.
Recently I've been losing chases pretty quick against a huntress, I would like some suggestions if anyone volunteers :)
Imagine being told 2 weeks ago that BBQ would be nerfed and OoO would be buffed with aura changes
I like the idea of MMR but if it resets monthly that kind of defeats the purpose imo. Does anyone know the answer to this since we can't see the MMR?
Generator auras are not visible at all, and perks that reveal auras can be thrown in the trash. Dear developers, could you start playing your own game and test the updates before the release?
I own two 2560x1440 (2K) monitors.
Recently with the new Midchapter, the UIs scale shrinked being way too small. I can barely focus my skill checks correctly now because every interfaces are too damn small.
Yes I know, when they released the last chapter (Silent Hill DLC), the UI was now bigger for higher resolutions but why did they reverted this feature?
I need explanation because there is nothing in the settings allowing me to scale the UI correctly.
