First of all, there was already mentioned a girlfriend in his lore. And in simple words, I´m angry with rewriting the story of an existing character as they want, don't taking care of fans. Just imagine if your favorite survivor is Kate/Feng/Meg etc, and in the next tome suddenly it comes that she has a cock.
